PaperWritings.com opened its doors in 2010 and has become somewhat well known in the industry after 6 years in the writing service business. In preparing our review of Paper Writings, we used the same categories and factors that we do for all services – the quality of the website and its content, company statements about its writers, testimonials posted on the site, writing samples and blog articles, if available, pricing, and off-site customer reviews that we have found on the web. We also assess the quality of product by ordering a college research paper. This review is the result of our investigation.

Products and Services

PaperWritings focuses solely on the needs of students for products and services – students from high school through Ph.D. level work. It provides essays and paper, of course, but also every type of academic assignments students would most likely be assigned. It also offers admissions essays for undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as homework assignments and test-taking. Graduate students can also order research and writing related to these and dissertations.

Website quality

The website is nicely appointed and organized. There are four link at the top of the home page – services, prices, discounts, and company. The company link has a dropdown menu for pages that explain how the process works, contains their blog, etc.

The pages themselves are well-written, and that is encouraging. However, as we opened some of the footer pages that described some of the products offered, things went downhill. The grammar is poor, and we wonder who wrote them? They were not reflective of native-English speaking writers which the company claims to have.

We also checked the example products on a separate page. These are called “free sample” and students can gain access to them by providing an email address. Again, these were supposedly written by their writers, but we have seen the same samples on several other websites.

Quality of Products and Services

We have to consider the quality of the blogs and footer pages, as we look at writing quality. We also have to consider the feedback and comments that customers have left around the web. And, as a third factor, we considered the order we received. In summing all of this up, here are the main points:

• PaperWritings.com receives orders from students, assigns them to writers, and those orders are delivered on time. In this respect, then, the company is not a fraud or scam.
• Paper Writings does not get high marks from customers in several key areas, specifically the quality of the composition and, in some cases, of the resources used.
• The research paper we received from the company reflected many of the same concerns expressed by other customers – awkward structures, incorrect word usage, and composition that did appear to be from and ESL writer.

Relative to services, we did contact the customer support department by telephone and by live chat. We attempted a Skype conversation, but they were not online at that time. Many questions that we asked did require detailed answers, and the reps had difficulty with them. Several times we were referred to the FAQ page.

Prices and Discounts

Prices begin at $20/page for a high school essay with a 14-day deadline. The prices graduate, of course, based on academic level and deadline. Graduate level work can get as high as $17page, with a very urgent deadline. Our paper – 8 pages with 6-day deadline, cost $160. There was no promo code for new customer discounts. Actually, the discount program is not that great 5% if an order is over $500 and 10% if the orders is over $1000. According to the page, customers are given coupon codes to enter into the order form for these discounts.

That company also states that it offers special pricing from time to time, to its email subscribers.

Extra Features

There are no unusual extra features – customer receive free title, table of contents, and bibliography pages. There are a number of fee-based extras that students can sign up for as their orders are processed.

Conclusion

As we look at the pros & cons of PaperWritings, there are more cons – quality of writing is a concern, and that really is major. Implementing a final editing by a solid English grammarian, might improve such quality. Overall, our rating of PaperWritings.com is “Fair.”
